Compassion Not Leverage

Exodus22:25 If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury. 26 If thou at all take thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down: 27 For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious. 28 Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people. 29 Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me. 30 Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me. 31 And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.

People all around need the riches of God, but few have them and those who seem to have them often use deceit to appear to others to have true riches, but if they did, they would no take advantage of those who do not. A tree is known by its fruit; so, if people are taking from others who do not have what it takes to live through using them, they are none of His.

When God’s children give to others not expecting anything in return, God blesses them beyond understanding, and if they have this level of compassion they should have the second as well; which is knowing God has supplied all of His people’s needs and they have no desire to take anything away from their family that needs His covering as much as the individual himself thereby having the grace of God flow freely in God’s kingdom.

God’s people understand it is a gift to be able to give to the Giver and they give with thankful hearts unto His people who receive their offerings in His name to further the Kingdom as He has supplied everything anyone has received.

The first of the fruits are the produce of His people’s lives, the liquors are what the fruit becomes as it ages, and the firstborn sons are the things that are reproduced by the fruit seemingly on their own, but would not exist unless they came through the works of the man’s body originally. The oxen are the laborers that help increase the productivity of the man, the sheep are what supplies energy, follows as the man leads gently, and it is to be given to God after it is brought a certain way to Him, so He can complete its purpose. God supplies His people “clean food” to sustain their lives in a pleasing way, and there is no need to allow the corrupt things to enter them: the corrupt things should be thrown away for the unclean people in the world to consume if the worldly people so desire.
