Stage Eight "God's Sovereignty"

This is day eight of the blog series, “Ten Days Through The Stages of Life.” The series is intended to bring us through the Ten Stages of Life as defined by God’s word through Complete Peace. God has given His people the map, the Bible, to their journeys and we are here to facilitate its reception. God has been gracious enough to give His people His word written in their language to read, meditate on, and receive in His truth that transforms their lives into what He has designed them to be from the foundation of the world. The person of God lives on the Stage of Life they are experiencing until they finish all Ten Truths of the Stage; then, they live in that Stage while they are on the next Stage until they complete its Ten Truths. Complete Peace is, “Drawing a court case for God and painting a portrait for His people.”

The Eighth Stage of Life, the true life in God, is the Stage of Sovereignty and is found in Ephesians chapter one. Paul writes the longest single portion of scripture focused on God’s sovereignty to the Ephesians. Like the other Stages, writings and cross-references are found throughout the Bible, but God lays them out in ten truths in a single section to help His people understand what He is telling them.

The Sovereignty of God is simply defined as God’s plan will occur.

The first Truth in the Stage of The Sovereignty of God is, “God…who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings.”

God has blessed His people with these blessings because He wanted to and it is a part of His plan. There is nothing His people can do to earn the gift that He has given to them, but God loves them enough to give it to them.

The second Truth in the Stage of The Sovereignty of God is, “He hath chosen us in Him.”

Jesus said it this way, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you,” God choosing His people and calling them by name to be unified with Him and in Him, is by Him.im H

The third Truth in the Stage of The Sovereignty of God is, “the glory of his grace.”

God’s grace is His undeniable power granted to His people to bring about His plan in their lives.

The fourth Truth in the Stage of The Sovereignty of God is, “we have redemption through His blood.”

Redemption is the gift of God given to His people to bring them back to a place they once existed and grant them rest in their home of origin.

The fifth Truth in the Stage of The Sovereignty of God is, “forgiveness of sins.”

By God’s mercy, He forgave His people’s sins that had yet to be committed when He paid the price to forgave them; because He knew what they would do before they were even born onto the earth.

The sixth Truth in the Stage of The Sovereignty of God is, “all wisdom and prudence.”

By wisdom, God founded the earth, and through prudence, it exists. God has given to His people this understanding which increases their lives as they receive it.

The seventh Truth in the Stage of The Sovereignty of God is, “gather together in one.”

God’s plan from before the foundation of the world was to have Jesus come and witness who He is to His people and bring them together in and by the One.

The eighth Truth in the Stage of The Sovereignty of God is, “worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:”

God could not have stated His sovereignty any more boldly than this. He wants His people to know what His authority is and who they are in the relationship so their peace shall increase by faith in His sovereignty.

. The ninth Truth in the Stage of The Sovereignty of God is, “sealed with that Holy Spirit.”

God separates His people like all other kings of this world by putting His seal on His property. Once the property is sealed there is no way to remove it; and, with God, His seal is eternally active.

The tenth Truth in the Stage of The Sovereignty of God is, “the redemption of the purchased possession.” In another place, God’s word says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,” There is no missing the mark and no retracting of His statutes once He has spoken; so, His people are redeemed until the Day of Christ Jesus and can rest assured that nothing or no one can take them from their Father’s hand.

The eighth Stage of Life is completed with God’s people knowing He is truly sovereign in every aspect. God’s amazing plan that He created and fulfilled is given to His people who have the ability to receive it, and they are one Stage of Life closer to receiving Complete Peace in Earth.
