One of the things I do for money is driving for a company that is similar to a taxi company.
I was out driving one night and it started out as a slow night... so I praying to God about how I needed more money.
I stopped by a gas station for a bathroom break... A man who was in the bathroom with me started sharing with me as we washed our hands about how he had an infection in both of his feet and that he was homeless because someone stole all of his tools a few months back.
My heart went out to him and I asked if he would like me to pray for him. So we prayed. I know his feet our being restored minute by minute.
I walked back to my car with a sober reminder of just how fragile life can be and how much we take for granted like having food and a home... I repented for complaining about not having as much as I wanted coming in that night.
I had another person that night who was looking for God in all the wrong places say he wanted to visit my home church.
And to top it all off, after it looked like my night was over as far as getting any more rides, I told God that he was a little short of what I needed to pay my bills (looking back on it I'm sure he smiled and laughed at that moment) because I had a request shortly after at around 3 AM in the morning to go from south Tulsa to Bartlesville (which is 50 miles one way)...
Needless to say my budget was met and peoples lives were touched by the love and compassion of God... And such is my constant and continual journey with God.

Brian,
Make certain to allow your friends to know this opportunity to encourage and be encouraged exists. People love to tell their story and we have made a platform to help them do so.
I love this!!!
God always has it all worked out, and we get to share with each other how He shows us.
