JUDE
To the only wise God, our Saviour be glory and majesty, dominion, and power, both now and forever

 

• Jude the brother of James (eludes to his being the half-brother of Jesus)

• I write that you contend for the faith because of our common salvation

• People have crept in who have been ordained from long ago to condemnation who deny the Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ

​

• These deceivers are like the ones of old times and are spots in your feasts of charity speaking words looking for men’s admiration

​

• We were warned about these men by Jesus Christ’s apostles

​

• Build yourselves up by praying in the Holy Ghost

​

• Keep yourselves in the love of God looking for the mercy of Jesus Christ

​

• Save some by compassion and others with fear

​
