JOHN

The word “love” is used twice as many times as in any other gospel

  • Jesus’ eternally inherent position with God

  • Jesus the Worker of miracles, Teacher, Prophet, Servant, and Son of God

  • One must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven

  • John wrote his account so others might understand the depth of God’s love

  • Jesus gave His people the "Great Commission." He sent them as He was sent, breathed the Holy Ghost on them, and gave them the ability to retain or remit sins.

  • John concludes his gospel with, “And there are so many other things which Jesus did, which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.”
